Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Following breakfast, your safari guide will collect you (specific pick-up and drop-off points will be provided) for an excursion to Tarangire National Park. Prepare for an unforgettable encounter with wildlife.
Later, return to Arusha with lunch provided and enjoy complementary drinking water for each person throughout the day.
Spanning nearly 3000 sq km, Tarangire National Park is renowned for its vast elephant populations and iconic baobab trees. Its name originates from the Tarangire River, flowing through the park. The park's allure peaks during the dry season (June - November), attracting abundant wildlife akin to the Serengeti.
The Tarangire River serves as the primary water source, drawing immense herds of elephants and other creatures. Hosting diverse habitats and boasting a permanent water source, the park shelters over 2000 elephants and 500 bird species.
