2 Days Private Budget Safari to Tarangire and Lake Manyara

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you'll be promptly picked up in the morning.

Together with your knowledgeable guide, you'll embark on a picturesque journey to Lake Manyara National Park, nestled within the stunning East African Rift Valley. The drive to the park will span approximately three hours.

This remarkable park is defined by the majestic lake it's named after, known for its large congregations of waterfowl.

The park's avian population is a sight to behold, with striking pink flamingos taking center stage alongside other captivating species like cormorants, pelicans, and storks.

In fact, Lake Manyara National Park is home to around 400 diverse bird species.

While exploring this remarkable habitat, you'll also have the opportunity to spot the renowned tree-climbing lions, often sighted in the central and open areas of the park.

Your safari adventure will lead you to encounter an array of magnificent creatures, including elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and a multitude of other captivating wildlife.

As the day draws to a close, you'll bid farewell to the national park and head to a comfortable campsite located near the charming village of Mto wa Mbu, where you'll spend the night.

After breakfast at the lodge in Mto Wa Mbu, the safari team sets out for Tarangire National Park.

This reserve is adorned with numerous colossal African Baobab trees nestled within Acacia woodlands and teems with extensive elephant herds.

Midday, we'll arrange a delightful picnic at one of the park's designated sites, followed by additional hours of captivating game drives.

Tarangire is currently hosting an annual migratory phenomenon, with a remarkable influx of as many as 3,000 elephants, along with a staggering 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras.

In the late afternoon you will return to Arusha with many impressions of your safari.
